Role Summary
The candidate
IOPP is keen to bring greater internationality to the Board, in particular North America experience, with this being our largest revenue market. You will have prior Executive or Board member experience from within the scientific publishing sector and likely be based in the US.
Deep technological transformation, digital marketing and customer data/insights are continuing themes for the business as it transitions from a “pay to read” business model to a “pay to publish” business model. The requirement is therefore for a Board member with experience of leading organisational change within a scientific publisher. You will also be someone who appreciates the importance of listening, learning, supporting and challenging in equal measure. You’ll have a naturally collaborative style that gets the best out of people.
IOPP welcomes applicants that reflect the diversity of the scientific communities that it serves.
